Any help? It would help if someone could check what Audio his build has, if it's 'Intel Corp' or something else, also where you bought your USB Audio would help as well
can you show what sound card your using (and maybe also a USB hub).....
the audio recognition will vary on builds, depending on what USB sound card you have.....

the most common apparently is C-Media Electronics, Inc, but again this may/will vary depending on the USB sound card

this is how one of my build looks....
(the USB sound card shows up as Generalplus Technology Inc)

and heres another one of my builds (using a similar looking USB sound card)
(Generalplus Technology Inc again)

i've used these USB sound cards in several build....

also if you using a hub, or not (not sure)

i'd recommend to get one of these, its super tiny and most importantly work flawlessly.....

I got this one from ebay https://www.ebay.com/itm/Simulation-Bla ... 2749.l2649

I use this HUB, http://www.sweex.com/de/computer/usb-hu ... -550512324

But the Soundcard doesn't even work when I connect it directly to USB with an OTG cable, it works on my windows and linux machine though

Edit: if you stumble upon this thread: I tried several different USB Soundcards, and I found that following work:
C-Media Inc
Texas Instruments
The following didn't work:
Intel Corp.

Check your card with `lsusb`, it shoud say which one is yours.

I've seen those about, but I've always gone with the ones that are tried and tested by others....

The sound card might not be compatable....

I would recommend to replace the sound card, the one I suggested only costs around a $1
