Adding Roms

Hi there.
I've started in 2017 my GBZero Project with Kites 0.6 Board and his Software packages for it. For 2 Years, I've done nearly nothing for it. But with a longer hospital stay coming i want to restart my project.

I wipped the SD-Card and flashed the AIO Software - Package with BalenaEtcher from WIN10.
I installed ext4 on my win10-computer. So i could transfer some roms to the sd card.
but retropie on the gbz doesnt regocnize the roms, it even deletes the files during boot.
the i try to transfer roms via wifi.
My Win10 Computer doesnt find the GBZ but my Android Device recognize it. I could transfer the roms but
the GBZ doesnt find it. the only difference now is, that the files aren't erased.

i am feeling like going to kindergarten again. I don't remember that transfering roms is such a mess.

Did you restart Emulationstation after transferring the roms? And they’re in the right folders, right? .gb roms go in the gb folder, inside the roms folder etc.
