white screen
I have pretty much completed my build but I only get a white screen when turning on the gameboy. It only does this when plugged in, the screen remains off when unplugged.

Re: white screen
I would check all solder points between the pi and dpi board. Also be sure you have an image installed with the proper drivers to run the screen. I am assuming tinkerboy provides an image, or has instructions on how to install the proper drivers. It won't work without the drivers.

Re: white screen
cool. I don't think the drivers are a problem the retropie image on his site says "The tinkerBOY DPI Adapter v1.0 also works with these images out of the box." I'll have to get myself a new multimeter as mine crapped out mid project, So I'd wager that's the culprit will order a multimeter and double check solderpoints.

Re: white screen
got all the pins between pi and dpi adapter fixed but still same results, white screen when plugged in and powered on and nothing when unplugged running on just battery.

Re: white screen
and this is what it's doing. also just for anyone referencing this, I did infact have some of the pins for the adapter not actually soldered. I used the pi zero's throughholes on the DPI adapter, not knowing that I was only testing the continuity of the DPI board itself and not the connections between it and the Pi.

Re: white screen
been messing around some more...... when I disconnect the 2 data wires from the pi I get video signal, it starts to load, then fades to white again.

Re: white screen
and that's it I think I'm done. I've been working on this thing off and on for around 12-16 hours today alone and I'm still in the same place as last post. I've literally stripped it completely back out of the case down to as little as possible and still nothing. I can't believe I've wasted this much time, effort, and money on something I can have 2 day delivery on from amazon. I'm going to go to bed now. as I can no longer afford to spend anymore time or money on this. what a fucking ridiculous waste of time.
