Okay I purchased the back up camera for my display and pulled it apart. I referenced this link (http://www.sudomod.com/wiki/index.php/B ... te_Display) to see if the board had already been documented and unfortunately the board i have is not pictured.
When i connected the raspberry pi zero to the display it did the flashing noted in most posts about this board. I am hoping someone has already found out where to short the power to correct it on this board. I would test the pcb if i new how to find where to short it. So i guess what I am looking for is either instructions on this specific display board or just some information on how it works and how i can test where to run the jumper myself.

I will continue to look and if i find a solution I will drop it below so hopefully anyone else who has this board variant can get some help.
composite back up camera board
Re: composite back up camera board
I made some progress on the display board. I have gotten the display working. It no longer shuts off. I took a shot in the dark based on another post mentioning connecting to the 5v leg of a specific IC. I am quickly learning how to search for things! I was looking for the post that led me to that but i ended up accidentally finding a post that wouldve solved my problem smh....

My solution in case that doesn't explain it well. From my understanding. the power supply is meant to run off a 12VDC power supply (backup car camera probably will run off of a 12v supply as its already there.) The RZC2013 IC (You should be able to read it on top of one of the chips on the board) is a converter that drops it down to 5v to power the screen.
According to the Typical applications, pin 3 on the chip should be where you put you 5v jumper. I've done so here: Not my prettiest work but I am new to soldering on such small connections. The display seems to work! It is a bit blurry not quite sure if thats just because of some settings that need to be changed or something but this fixed the flickering. Feel free to ask if you have any issues. I am currently building my first zero and am always learning. If i haven't run into the problem myself heck i can sure teach you better ways of finding what your looking for If this helped you out Don't worry! you will get it!
