Hello sudomoderz !
After some researches, I'm still confused and I know that you maybe of help.
I would like to put together a Gameboy Pocket Zero. It is my favourite form factor and after some modding on this handheld, I'd like to go further.
First question : Is Kite's the only viable option at the moment ?
It seems like there is no continuous sales of AIO PCBs. Am I right ? Could you point me at alternatives ? (I've just missed the pre-order )
Second question : Is it possible to have a screen of the same ratio of the original ? Why am I always seeing 4:3 ratios ? Is it possible to use the super nice Q5 IPS ?
Thanks for your help !
Take care.
How to start a GBP build ?
Re: How to start a GBP build ?
Not with a pi. Screens will limited to what will work with the pi itself.
Kite is the most powerful, but his pre-orders are closed and won't reopen again.
Bluup just released the Alchemy Stone, sold out but might make more
Gaboze pocaio round 1 you can still do the 2.4 screen. You can't do round 2 anymore though since the 2.6 screen is NLA

Thanks Spyder for your answer !
I never saw the Bluup board before. Glad I have this new reference.
Understood about the screen, it must be working with Pi.
From what I see, not so easy to find parts ! I'll persevere.
I thank you again. Take care !
