Hi
I seem to have killed my circuit sword lite.
All was well with testing until one power up. I didn’t notice the LCD ribbon cable had pulled out slightly, I did notice the acrid smell of a popped component though! On investigation, It’s either D1 or U5 just underneath the BL_OK LED.
I’m happy to replace it, but what is it and what rating? Should it have popped so easily?
I’m thinking it’s D1, diode 1?
Fried my circuit sword lite!

Re: Fried my circuit sword lite!
Hey! It probably shouldn't have popped so easily, it's either faulty U5 or D1 as you suggest, which CAN happen if either C20 or C21 are faulty If you send me an email, we can sort out returning it to me and i'll replace all those components, or if you would like to do it all I can provide the details, whatever suits you best!
