One part too large

So I'm putting together a GBZ and the tft screen control board is too large to fit my case http://i.imgur.com/SmXgiTo.jpg
Any suggestions on how to adjust the board or should I just get a smaller one? Or have one custom done?

That is bad.
maybe you cut a stick off. I would try it on the right side. Because the LCD Buttons are an extra board on the other Versions of the LCDs.
And you can use the LCD without the Buttons.
I would remove the buttons and shorten on this position the circuit board. But take a look that onle wires to the buttons are at this area.
I wish you success

I had a similar board, decided to go all out and just cut the screen adjustment buttons off... Big mistake :-)
Didn't work after that, sorry can't offer better advice!

cant you remove the strip next to where your wires are soldered on?
or are there more traces on there?
