So Im really new to electronics DIY stuff and I've decided I want to build a GBZ. What gauge wire is best for what uses?
Thanks to anyone who can help!

Hello! welcome to the forum! The best way to start is to browse around the various threads that document the entire build process (along with wermy's builds). As far as wire specifically, I bought myself a spool of this because it's handy to keep things organized when multiple wires are coming off of something (GPIO, arduino, PCB, etc)

You should use 28aWG for everything except for current transmission where it will be better to have 20 ou 22 AWG.
As mentioned above, a strip is a great deal for having a clean assembly that will allow easier closing of the case.

Check this page
https://www.powerstream.com/Wire_Size.htm
You see that 20awg is suitable for current up to 1.5A and 22 up to almost 1A. This is the max drain you will have with your GBZ so stick to this if you do not want power outage and overheating cables

Thanks guys! I ordered some rainbow ribbon wires, and that info was what I was looking for, thanks YaYa.
And I watched your splash screens on YouTube, they're pretty good! I may end up using them in my Gameboy.
