Just looking so make a splash! (screen)

I love some of the custom splash screens for the GBZ but i have one problem...i'm a hardware guy. I have not idea 1 how to code aside from doing what im told. So 1. Where do i find said neatness, and 2. how do i...you know...make it work?

I didn't understand all what you said lol.
You want to make to make a splash screen by yourself right ?
You want it still (picture) or animated (video) ?
For still pictures you have many softwares dealing with it, my preferred are photoshop (pixel) and illustrator (vector) both from adobe.
As for video, you have Premiere (basic effects and video/image/sound mixing) and after effects (one of the most powerful video software used in the cinema industry) both also from adobe.

Depending on your knowledge, all these software are demanding some time and practice to master... You can find many tutorials on youtube for the basics and also for more complex stuffs.
