Sound not working
Sound not working
So I am trying to get audio working on my Raspberry Pi Zero W. I am following this guide and am pretty sure I have done everything correctly.(http://www.sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=480) Is there something else I need to do in retropie to get the audio to work? I also have this usb sound card(http://www.ebay.ca/itm/5V-USB-Powered-P ... 2749.l2649) that I could use instead. I can post pictures of my wiring if need be. Any help or tips is appreciated. Thanks.
Re: Sound not working
Im using pin 13 for left audio and pin 18 for right audio. I've made a low pass filter following the guide I linked above. Here's the amplifier im usinghttp://www.dx.com/p/mini-digital-3w-3w- ... bRUi8iGOUk I added dtoverlay to the config.txt.
I can post some pictures later today aswell.
Re: Sound not working
Ok, as it seems to me that your pin 13 and pin 18 are the physical pins. You need to use physical pin 12 (bcm 18, PWM0) and physical pin 33 (bcm13, PWM1) to get the sound out.

Re: Sound not working
Just tried that and no luck. I may try re-building the low pass filter in hopes that it fixes the problem.darthwolf wrote: ↑Sun Sep 10, 2017 4:04 pmOk, as it seems to me that your pin 13 and pin 18 are the physical pins. Re: Sound not working
I've connected the amp and speaker to a Raspberry Pi 3 and have gotten sound out of it, so the amp and speaker are working.
