Raspberry pi help

Hello all,
I once again destroyed a component..
This time it's my USB port on my raspberry pi zero.
I wanted to use my teensy and my USB dac but that's off the table.
Can I still program my raspberry to use the gpio for audio and buttons or do I need a working keyboard on my raspberry to install it?

Hi there,
Did you destroy the test pads or the port itself? It looks like we could use some pictures about what you destroyed (now and before) so that we could have an overall look and estimate the damage

Thanks for your fast reply!
I'm at work atm but the USB port and the test pads don't work anymore...
Is there a way to use the sd card to program the pi to use the gpio pins?
I have no clue how they stopped working...

That is the thing, "not working" is very subjective, hence the need for pictures. The pads could be ripped off, the USB port could be ripped off, there could be a short, etc... The community needs to check for the integrity of your system before going into some deeper troubleshooting and work arounds.

Well the power port is ripped off, my screw driver fell on it so the pi with all the spaghetti attached fell on the ground with the USB power port still attached on my power brick hence the broken usb power port

Looks like you've burnt the traces completely. Turn down the temperature of your iron, the 320-350c range is ideal, and not for more than a few seconds. I'm not sure if you can recover that, I'm afraid, but the pi0 is only $14 anyway.

Yeah i know, its cheap but i always want to fix things.. its a habbit because i destroy so much xD
Going to order a new one tonight..
