Hello all. I finally received all my parts in the mail and I'm starting this build today! I have the cartridge reader from Aliexpress here: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/For-Nin ... 92016.html

What I'm wondering is the best way to go about cutting it. I've looked at several posts and can't find great pictures. Does anyone have any great pictures because I'm sure people have used this exact part.

that's a DS 'Phat' reader which as you can see is slightly different to a lite port. AFAIK the side trimmings should be the same (you just need to be able to get a regular gameboy cart into it and the blockers are down the sides) and probably trim the mounting lugs from the front.

Oh wow! I can't believe I didn't catch that when I made the purchase. I actually think there is nothing preventing the GB cartridge to go in fully!
