adafruit powerboost 1000c - En pin keeps tripping out [Solved]

I am currently in process of creating my first Gameboy Zero using the guide by Wermy, all has been going well except the adafruit powerboost 1000c en pin keeps flicking the power on and off continuously. First i thought my soldering was touching, nope everything was fine there, next I desoldered the switch from the 2 cables connected to the EN and Ground , still same result, finally I desoldered just the wire to EN pin and viola the power flickering disappeared!

After figuring the cable was causing the issue I replaced it with another, tested again still same result.

Can anyone advise why a cable that isn't connected to anything keeps flicking the power on and off? Ive already replaced the adafruit board and still got the same result again. :(

Could you post close pictures of the circuitry, the cables, the solderings... ?

I figured out the issue, turns out it was the power supply. I re-soldered the cables and on/off switch, plugged in the original 5v power suuply the problem repeated itself, however once I plugged in a 5.1v power supply the issue disappeared.

Thanks for your reply YaYa.
