Im new to programming and I wasn't sure how to add a joystick to the teensy lc from the perviously made software in the original game boy zero guide part 2.

I used the guide to get the main pcb working but i wanted to add this PSP 3000 one found in the link:

Which is used with the breakout board advised link below for that:
