I am poking out of the end of the tunnel now.

I have a working playing GBZ...with a couple of annoyances

can anyone help?

1) Controls are VERY sensitive when in ES (selecting console etc) it often skips several and i end up jogging back and forth to eventually land on what i want.

2) Volume is VERY low and VERY noisy. I have the ES settings up to 100% volume and ferrites on the speaker wiring. But the real issue is i can barely hear anything at 100% volume. My Pot is a 10k one and tested to be working.
Is there a way of adjusting this over PuTty?

3) My X&Y buttons are not very responsive but i think this is a build thing and not fixed here.

Cheers for any input. This really is one of the VERY best forums i have joined. Everyone gets on nicely and helps out. I just hope i can repay for all my help over some time as i couldnt have built this without you chaps.

Did you put on or made a low/high pass module? This is very helpful on filtering the noise interference especially for the pi zero.

Are you using usb(teensy/pro micro) or gpio for the controller? Either way clean the contact pads on the pcb by using an eraser or a fine sand paper. I did use a sand paper and it made a lot of difference especially for the start and select buttons. Just becareful not to scratch off anything but the contact pads only.

Also some pictures of your build will be great for troubleshooting.
