First Time Build - Need help with Screen

Hi,
This is my first build for a GBZ or really anything for that matter. I've never soldered anything or taken much apart. I have build a Retropi System with a Pi3. This just looks like so much fun, I had to try it for myself. So I got the Gear Best 3.5" screen and I have no idea where to hook it up on the Raspberry Pi Zero W. I have been looking on the forum here and I see some blurry pictures. Well I tried to go off of those tonight and I'm not sure it went well. Any help would be appreciated.

Yellow (or white, but I used yellow) wire must be connected to square TV hole, black wire is ground - use the hole next to TV, and red is 5v. Your power wiring is incorrect, these pins will be needed to power the pi.

Thank you so much! I have a picture. It won't go past the lone raspberry and when it moves even the slightest, it glitches. I assume this is due to my inferior solders.

Could be poor soldering or the ribbon connector isn't fully inserted.
Re do the solder and see what happens. Also. If it doesn't get past the raspberry logo burn and new image and see if that helps.
As for soldering. Trim the exposed wires pretty short. And twist and tin before you solder.
Here is a decent little soldering guide. It's also not a bad idea to buy some perf board and some components to practise on.

It was for sure my soldering. I soldered the video wire after it looked a little loose and its running great! As far at the lone raspberry on the screen, I think it was because I was testing it with my other Retropi SD card and this screen does not support the splash screen and/or theme (Tronky). I am for sure going to check out that soldering stuff. I am getting better, but its frustrating at time when the solder won't take.

Yeah. For sure. Glad it's working. I learned to solder on my first and too and know what you mean. It was a good learning challenge. As you go you'll get better!
