Loading ROMS on retropie

Post by JakD_98 » Tue Feb 13, 2018 3:33 am

So this is probably an easy fix but I'm new to this kind of thing. I've finished my GBZ and everything is working as planned. Only problem is, some roms load without any menu popping up but some display a menu asking me to select a default emulator but my button presses aren't working so I can't select the option I want/ can't select ok? Any ideas?

Programm your buttons to be arrow keys up, down, left, right, A Enter and so on. Than you will be able to navigate through the menues in Retropie with your Gameboy Buttons.

Awesome thanks for the fast reply! So I could just plug in a USB keyboard as well and use that to navigate the menu?

Yes a usb keyboard is fine. It's odd that that menu pops up when you start a game. There is usually a prompt when starting a game, something like press any button to open config menu. So unless you are pressing buttons when booting games that menu should not open on it's own.
