Still 2 months untill I get my parts from Kite for my retropieboy.
So two quick questions.
1: do I need to use soldering flux?
2: should I use tinn that contains lead or not?
Or is there anyspesiffic tinn to use?
I failed at the search on the forum :/
Thanks for the help

I ALWAYS go with 60/40 lead tin blend, flux core (if you get flux core, you neither need to flux nor clean up). Make sure it isn’t acid core, that’s for plumbing. The zero lead solder SUCKS IMO. Definitely go with 60/40.

Like this stuff. The technical term is “rosin core”. This is what you want to look for. The thinner gauge, the better.

I just want to mention that you should buy quality solder, I had always bought from ebay and then I tried Kester solder and that solder is much shinier after melting.
