Help with build

Hello all,

I recently took on building a gameboy zero. This is my first project like this so I have no prior experience. I am using the helder all in one 2.2 board but can't get audio or retropie to detect the controls. The speaker does work so that's not the issue I tried everything I can think of to fix it. I'll attach some images of my wiring, but I do not know what I am doing wrong at this point. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Make sure the wires on data pins are not touching or shorted.

Yeah, if the pi isn't detecting the board it's most likely the D+ and D-, make sure they are not bridged like tinkerBOY mentioned. And also confirm they are wired to the proper pads on the pi too (it looks like they are fine). The Data pads on the pi are quite close together, and are easy to bridge with each other, or to the ground holes on either side of them. (if you have a multi meter you can easily confirm if they are bridged by using the continuity function)

Also confirm you are getting 5V to the AIO board's power strip from the powerboost using a multi meter.
