Verifying some stuff with the Tinkerboy 2.1.0.1

Hi,

I want to make sure I am going to be doing this right before I get started. I have put all my pieces out. From the tinkerboy, I need to solder to the Raspberry pi. Then solder to the power input thing I have. Then solder the video card to the Raspberry pi. Solder the volume control and speaker to the Tinkerboy. But that for the buttons, since I am not doing the analog sticks there is no soldering required. Also that I won't need to use the voltage converter thing because there is one on the tinkerboy.

Thank you. I just don't want to ruin anything.

My first project is using the TinkerBoy 2.1 as well. Let me know what you did, I have everything connected, I just need to put everything on the 5v purple board and solder the wirings for buttons.

Could you post a picture of how you plan to wire your tinkerboy v 2.1.0.1? I also have this PCB. Im gonna sit down today and plan it all out as well.

Btw, are you using camble's safe shutdown board? Im not sure if it is gonna affect the wiring. Also are you going to use a power strip board? Not sure if it's even necessary when using the tinker boy PCBs
