GearBest PowerBoost Issues
GearBest PowerBoost Issues
This is my first time doing a GBZ build so I'm going to be posting quite a bit. I've figured out a lot on my own but one of the things I'm a bit unsure about is the charging PCB. I have the GearBest PowerBoost and I followed the wiring diagram provided by TinkerBoy. I had power working and everything was fine. The battery worked on it's own and the charger worked. Now it seems like the battery is dead and isn't being charged. I'm not sure if there is a way to check or not.
Re: GearBest PowerBoost Issues
Essentially I have the battery wired to each pad on the left and right sides (correctly, too. I made sure of that a million times). The battery is 3.7v 4000mah from banggood. The right wire is the ground and the left is positive. I removed the connect temporarily but everything was working the first time I tried it.

Also, it feels like the board is getting pretty warm when everything is connected. But there is not short from what I can tell.

Please check the following:
* battery voltage with a multimeter (should bei between 3.0 and 4.2V)
* output voltage of powerboost (b+ and b-), connected to usb charger
* output voltage of powerboost big usb (underside pads) - should be between 5.0 and 5.2V)
