ok i got it.

will solder everything nice again.... works perfect
you should see the pins I used in the pix

Nice work. It's pretty much always one of those 8-pin bastards. Good job narrowing it down and getting it working. :D

It works very weil. Thank you for sharing. Maybe someone should add this to the wiki as a new bw screen Type.

Hello im new here. I want to start my new build soon. I have a question it seems that the new display board has a 8 pin chip where you dont have a red wire soldered, did you remove the chip ? Thanks.

I had the same problem, and I was about to make a post about it. I'm so glad that other people have ran into this problem. This board definitely needs to be added to the wiki.

i assume u mean where the red wire now goes to...
yep
but should work with the chip on the board too if you solder careful enough.

I added this to the wiki, I wonder if that chip needs to be removed, or can you just solder to it?

hey guys im done with my attempt of a tutorial video...
there you see the board again ... maybe it helps someone
i tried to make it as quick and easy as possible...
