I would appreciate it if you guys can help an idiot like me on where to start if I wanna use NiMH batteries. Do I need a battery over-discharge protection circuit? If so, can I use one of the Aliexpress https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1pcs-3- ... 4c4dzX4flZ ? Oh wait, I just realised the power module I linked is only for lithium ion batteries.

Of course you need one if you don’t want to permanently kill your cells.

Each charging board normally contains a protection IC for overcharge and overdischarge.

And you board look like the same as many others has used here.

So I can use the charging board that I linked to for my batteries?
