Battery issue

Hi All,

I bought a battery from this site and a adafruit 1000c. I got both and tested, everything worked fine. However, I couldn't disconnect the JST connector and ended up ripping the wires from the battery out. See pic.

Anything i can do to repair or do i need to buy a new battery?

just solder the battery direct to your power boost? It does not necessarily need to be plugged in via the JST connector. I believe you can just use the GND (black wire, you can use any labelled ground hole) and BAT (red wire) pins on the side of the power boost.

Alternatively, you could strip back some of the blue wrapping on the battery, desolder the existing wires and solder some new ones with a connector head on it.

I would just stick with the first option personally, but here is a link to some JST connector wires if you go that route:
