Variant Screen Wiring

Post by hutch78uk » Fri Oct 11, 2019 4:26 pm

Hi
I have what looks to be yet another variation screen so was just wondering about the wiring. I'm very new to all this so please excuse me if this has already been resolved elsewhere in the forum.

From my research (https://www.sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=44&t=8266 and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_MtN_s4 ... u.be&t=230) I believe I need to bridge the input wire to pin 1 of the XL1509 chip as shown in the images.

Do i have this right?

If not what would be the correct wiring?

Many thanks

Tinker boy is right, check out his link too.

I also just posted in another thread, but you want pin 2, not pin 1.

Pin 1 is for VIN, while pin 2 is the output.

Where the little divot on the chip is should be leg 1. Someone correct me if I am wrong.
