How do i set up a GPi with a regular Raspeberry pi zero? (No W) all the places i have looked for how to have just been how to set it up with a W

Easiest solution. Get a pi zero W.

Other option you'll need to get some sort of wifi dongle to add wifi, then add ROMs and install the scripts. I would get the pi set you before you put it in the GPi in that case.

Or download a pre made image so you don't need to install the scripts. To add ROMs you'll still need a wifi dongle or a computer that can read the Linux partition of the SD card, where you could wirelessly transfer or just drag and drop ROMs.

Another option is to find a fully loaded image (with scripts and ROMs) and just flash that to an SD card.
