hi and thank you in advance i am currently in the process of testing my controller all buttons work perfect but when in game the down button is also activating a (a) button press and the left button is activating a (b) button press any advice or help would be greatly appreciated thank you again in advance npG

Sounds like you've got a short somewhere. Double check your wiring and solder connections.

@camble thank you for the quick reply i have tested continuty on all controls and the meter only buzzes when on the corasponding wire ill have to double check for ahort but every thing seems to be okay thank you

Have you tried the Teensy plugged into a computer? You can type letters into notepad for testing.

Yes in note pad the controll works as should all button presses return the assigned letter in i cannot replicate the issue unless i start a game and it is doing it in all games if that matters

It must be a problem with your config then. I haven't had much dealings with RetroPie yet. Hopefully someone else can help.
