Adafruit PowerBoost alternative

Post by tonda2 » Wed May 24, 2017 12:04 pm

Hello everybody,
I am looking for some cheaper alternative to the PowerBoost by Adafruit. Do you think this board would work the same? - http://www.ebay.com/itm/5V-1000mA-1200m ... SwIQdZFVPR
My only requirement is that I should be able to use the battery why it's being charged.
Thank you for all your advices!

if your gonna use it for a gameboy build, then consider the powerboost that have been tried and tested like this one

I'm with Veteran. The Banggood PS has been used by a number of forum users successfully. That being said, it's so cheap and small, you could try one out and post your findings so we can all learn!

I actually bought a similar USB on top, micro USB on bottom board for the purpose of testing. Will let you know when it arrives.

I have a couple of those for tiny builds and while i can't comment on them long term, they will supply while being charged.
