Wiring up ili9341 screen

I was wondering if I want to use an ili9341 screen on the pi without the original controller board, do I have to use any resistors or other components, I’m curious because I’ve seen it done both ways.

You'll need one 3r9 resistor if you dont use the ones with a board, alongside some sort of breakout of osh

This is really helpful, did you design that pcb? if so would you mind sending me the eagle files? Having an example would be super helpful.

I didnt, but there are footprints available at github for these screens

Not 10 ohms use 3.6ohm or 3.9ohms to have the proper backlight, using 10 ohms will slightly dim the backlight unless you want it that way.
