I used to buy famicom and super famicom games all the time since they were alot cheaper and essentially the same as their NES and SNES counterparts. I though why not do the same with GB games.

If you need a gameboy cart, just ebay search "gameboy game japan" and filter by lowest price. You'll be surprised how cheaply you can get games.

yep, japanese ebayers are gold, i said it before. perfect for getting used consoles as well since they usually post very detailled pics and are very cheap compared to the inflated prices of the US and EU collectors' markets. i got a bunch of cheap carts and a very cheap black PIL gameboy that way.
