Re: [For Sale] $7 Game Boy Zero Controller PCB W/ Optional Audio $14 (Worldwide) Sold Out
Real big long shot here but does anyone have one Helders PCB with the built in audio amplifier? Doing this build as a present for my girlfriend and although I'm willing to go down the teensy controller route, this would make it so much easier and quicker.
Can anyone help?
Apologies to Helder for posting this here.

Hi Orbital, which step are you currently at? I have the PCB with audio and I was able to set up the screen and the controller yesterday. I will try to set up the audio today, but so far things are going well!OrbitalPi wrote:Real big long shot here but does anyone have one Helders PCB with the built in audio amplifier? You should check out the discord chatroom - there are many people there that can help!
For what it's worth, one issue I had was that my controller was being detected when I connected it to my laptop, but not when I connected it to the Pi.
I had to edit cmdline.txt to force USB 1.1 speed. You need to add this: dwc_otg.speed=1 (from this thread: http://www.sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1185)

Received my audio with headphone jack board today in the UK. Super quick delivery, now I have some guide holes to finally drill the extra holes for the x/y buttons.
Re: [For Sale] $7 Game Boy Zero Controller PCB W/ Optional Audio $14 (Worldwide) Sold Out
I have almost finished my Gameboy Zero build (still need to add the micro USB charger and find a good place for the powerboost), and almost everything is working nicely.
The only issue I am having is with the start/select buttons on the board. A single press to those buttons somehow translates into mutliple x or z button presses, and this makes it difficult to exit games, pause them, etc. I tried loosening the screws that keep the board attached to the case, but this didn't resolve the problem.
Is there anything I can do with the board to resolve the issue? Alternatively, is there a way to add a "dead time" in Retropie so that a button press on start select can't be detected for 1 - 2 seconds after one press is detected?
Thanks!

I believe your answer was on the Discord chat and the problem is likely the Teensy code.

Helder a quick question, as I can see the V2.0 already contains the PowerStrip PCB, is that correct?

My v2 board didn't. Just had the headphone jack. The AIO board has the powerstrip.b0b3rman wrote:Helder a quick question, as I can see the V2.0 already contains the PowerStrip PCB, is that correct?

You're confusing the AIO with the Audio board, there is no power strip. Also boards are back in stock and have been updated to a new design with integrated headphone socket.b0b3rman wrote:Helder a quick question, as I can see the V2.0 already contains the PowerStrip PCB, is that correct?
