***SOLD*** GBZ build with Kite SAIO
So I had a really fun time building these but I think I am ready to try something else and want to give this a good home with someone who will play with it more than I will. Not looking to make a profit just want to recoup some of my investment to go to the next project. Here is what is included:
Grey Gameboy case from original non-functioning Gameboy
Kites SAIO board (latest) w/ PI Zero
SNES buttons
64GB memory card
3.7V 4000mah battery
Hoolyhoo's screen/button bracket for SAIO
Intact battery bay
Dummy cart (non-removable) with Zelda sticker
"Modified with Rasberry Pi" screen surround
Everything powers up and works fantastic.
Looking to get $235 shipped in the US. Shipping international will be extra. Open to offers as well, like I said not trying to get rich, just want to be fair.
I also have a parts lot I am posting for those who want to build their own.
Thanks to everyone on this forum. I did a lot lurking and the knowledge here was awesome. Especially Kite for his amazing customer service.

Re: GBZ build with Kite SAIO
That is one mighty fine looking GBZ!
I'm almost done gathering the rest of my parts for my own GBZ build and I wish I had seen your post for your GBZ Parts Lot sooner. It would've been a great starter kit.
That being said, the only thing left that I'm trying to get is a decent battery that won't require me to completely dice up my battery bay. May I ask where you purchased your battery for this build? Maybe a link?

Thank you for the compliments. I wish you had seen it sooner too so I could have sold it to you
The battery is from ebay.....it was recommended on one of the posts I read when creating my build. It fits exactly in the battery bay once you grind down the original AA battery spacers. Not very hard at all. Here is a link:

What did you do / use to fix the button travel issue?

Re: GBZ build with Kite SAIO
The Hoolyhoo screen/button bracket makes the new top buttons sit higher than than the stock bottom buttons. When you screw down the Kite AIO it causes the buttons to not have as much travel. I had to trim out some material inside the button wells so they could sit down further. I am sure that is mentioned somewhere in the forums but I had to learn the hard way :p
Re: GBZ build with Kite SAIO
What do you guys mean by button travel? Is that like a space/distance between the conductive pads and board?

Re: GBZ build with Kite SAIO
No it’s the distance from the top of the button resting and the pressed state on the conductive pad.
The less travel you have, the more responsive will be the button but it will feel also like harder to press.
