Re: PRS-Tech Giveaway
Ah, dangit! Oh well! Congratulations Joe! I have now completed my build of the board I received which for the most part went really easily. Few points though.
1. I bought a REALLY cheap controller to gut. (£3 from Amazon) this controller must have the L and R buttons at a different angle as the PRS board covered up where the L and R pcb's slotted in. However it only took a quick dremeling to both the PRS pcb and the L and R pcb's to get it to fit.
2. I gave up on the nicely fitting hdmi cables to come back into stock, and just ordered a different type, with the intention of making the cable hole wide enough to have the cable always fitted. It's not quite as pretty, but it does the job!
All in all this was an awesome project. I plan to add the power button as detailed a few steps up, and don't be surprised if I order a few more boards for friends and family! I reckon the total cost of this was sub £30 so it falls nicely in the bracket of Christmas Presents!
Cheers
Rik
