I'm having a hard time getting my pi0 to connect to the internet. How did you guys get yours online and get the software downloaded?

What is not working about getting the pi0 online?Moshiriously wrote:I'm having a hard time getting my pi0 to connect to the internet. How did you guys get yours online and get the software downloaded?
To do mine I actually put the SD card in my laptop and put the software on there.
If you don't have a Linux PC then you can make an Ubuntu live usb to run it temporarily to be able to read the SD card.

Hey, just wondering if there was any update on the new runs of safe shutdowns for PowerBoost?

I've got a batch of BangGood ones to send out then I'll be putting in an order for another batch of each. A couple of weeks probably.incontrasttogray wrote:Hey, just wondering if there was any update on the new runs of safe shutdowns for PowerBoost?

Re: [Pre-Order] Safe Shutdown Switch (PowerBoost Version) - Closed
Having a hard time getting my safe shutdown switch to work. Double checked the wiring diagram, and I'm 99% sure everything is good. I even double checked all the solder joints to make sure they were clean.
I have the code in the config.txt file, and I downloaded the program. But everytime I flip the switch, it instantly powers off.
Any thought or ideas as to why? Also, when I launch the Monitor manually, nothing happens. Putty just freezes and I'm not able to do anything else in the terminal.
EDIT*
Maybe it's working? Guess I gotta play it until a low battery. But it just seems to power off instantly....except for when I was testing out different times of powering the switch off. While it was loading and scrolling the bootup text, I flipped the switch off, and a new set of text appeared. Looks like Shutdown, or stop. or something that indicated that it was probably shutting down.
But still instantly turns off when in Retropie. I don't see any shutdown script or anything. Normal? The demo videos show some shutdown text.

Are you running of battery or mains?
Mine seems to shut down instantly when on mains.

Are you shutting down in game? I have found on some cores it does shutdown instantly I tend to go back to emulationstation before shutting down, give it a try while on emulation station.
