the cheapest knock off snes controllers on ebay are literally less than 2 dollars including shipping. just get one of those and chop it up.

Look up the buffalo snes controller on amazon. it has high quality buttons and the controller is cheap too. its also usb so if you need to use the usb input from it then its perfect.
