I got offer for gameboy classic for approximately 12usd. It is heavily used and battery plate is missing, but it is working. Is it worth it? I don't know what prices for gameboys are.

I probably won't use it for GBZ, I will buy aftermarket case, but it may be nice piece for collection.
Thank you.

Re: Buy or not to buy?
12usd fir a working DMG would be pretty good in the uk. I can't even get broken ones for that cheap
Re: Buy or not to buy?
Thank you, I will take it. That price is really low comparing to other shenanigans I buy. I live in czech republic and there aren't many gameboys (there are some nice ones selling for 30-50usd), so I couldn't compare it to anything.

Ditto, I've seen one at a thrift store for $25 in rough shape, but that was years ago. Anything functional fetches at least $40 US around here. They couldn't pay me enough to let go of my first game console though

Well as it happens i just took delivery of a 'broken' DMG for £8 ($11) and once i cleaned up the battery leakage corrosion, it came up sweet as a nut!
