I may have missed it... when I go to the print shop to print the gameboy box on 400g paper... how do I ensure they print it to the right size?

You didn’t missed it, i have a sale ongoing... check my signature.
To print the box, tell them to use actual size option and not something like fit to page option ;)

I know the pre-order ended but are there any extra sets available? I can PP.
Only wondering why you're claiming that when printed, Oracal printable vinyl looks the worst? For inkjets, I use Oracal 1917 Matte, and have been pleased with the results. But it's the only form that I've seen, so there's nothing I have to compare it to. Ok, other than plain paper with a matt sticker, and it looks a lot better than that.
While they may have lots of capabilities and can help you in just about any project at this site

The only advice I have is for the print and cut. Cut a square large enough for the picture out of the printable vinyl and tape the edges to a regular sheet of paper. The black box will then be printed on regular paper, using less of the printed vinyl. Keep the vinyl taped to the paper for cutting as well. It consumes tape, but it consumes less vinyl.

To be clear, I've only done this on paper. I had some card stock that I wanted to print and cut, so I used the method I described. Because vinyl is a thicker material, I'm not sure if it will work.
