[For Sale] MintyPi Kit

Post by TRJUST01 » Fri Oct 27, 2017 9:06 pm

Includes:
Altoids tin with drilled holes
the 3d printed frames
the 2.4 inch screen
raspberry pi zero w
Battery
speaker
sound card
tactile buttons
silicone coated wire
Battery charger
buttons
power switch
the 3d printed screen frame is already placed inside tin with the extra strong double sided tape.

this pretty much includes everything off the parts list except the sd card. I gave up putting it together when I couldn't find my soldering iron. so I am selling it all for $110 shipped (PayPal)

It says 'buttons', and it doesn't mean tactile buttons, so I assume that is what he means. What version pcb do you have?

Could be DSL buttons. Definitely need more information from OP.

It does not sound legit, I don't think anyone would give up on a mintyPi just because they cant find their soldering iron. This is just my opinions though. Lets not break out the pitch forks yet.

everything’s there including button pcb, started to attempt to solder but quickly realized my tip wasn’t nearly thin enough so that’s why there is a little solder on top of the wholes.

Not worth the time and effort for me. Seems to be above my skill level

Or you realized that you soldered the Pi backwards to the PCB.

Yeah, your Pi is soldered on backwards... if someone buys this they will either need to desolder it, or (more likely) get a new Pi and PCB. Please update your post to reflect this.

Disregard, pictures weren’t clear — it’s not soldered on at all. :)
