i used PLA, it seems to be holding nicely. i would imagine it might not be the best material if you are going to open and close it a lot, but for occasional inspection or battery replacement, i think it will be just fine.

This might seem like a strange question. Does anyone have any idea of the approximate time it would take to print this in PLA or resin? I've found a local place (Australia) that charges in 15min increments. Wouldn't mind knowing how much i could potentially be up for.

PLA isn't as strong, but it should work. The screw holes will likely just strip easier.

It takes me something like 18 minutes to print one on my Lulzbot Mini. No idea about resin... But I assume that means using SLA printing? I wouldn't recommend that for this bracket.

If this does happen, one can put a small drop of CA (super glue) and make it tight again. I do this all time when I wear out plastic screw posts.
