So the ABS part arrived, and it's looking really good.

Re: [FOR SALE] 3D-Printed Screw Brackets
This makes me want to invest into a 3d printer. Any suggestions on which 3d printer to buy?
p.s. I just ordered one bracket! The last piece of my build!

Re: [FOR SALE] 3D-Printed Screw Brackets
I had a Flashforge Creator Pro clone, and it gave me nothing but trouble. Switched to a Lulzbot Mini and it has been like night and day. Auto bed-leveling and nozzle cleaning, mostly printable replacement parts, heated PEI build plate that I haven't had to use anything on ever to get solid bed adhesion... Just great.username 123 wrote:This makes me want to invest into a 3d printer. Any suggestions on which 3d printer to buy?

Shipped out the second batch this morning! I sent a shipment notification email to everyone, so if you ordered one and did not get an email, send me a PM so I can make sure I didn't miss your order.
Edit: just to be clear, everyone who has ordered one up to this point should have received an email from me. If not, send me a PM!

This broke my screen
As a dick I drilled through it to make the screw fit.. And now it is showing weird lines.. Or maybe that's the capacitor I removed to make the usb port fit.. Lets hope this is it since everything is glued as hell in place... I may have to start all over again...

You drilled through the bracket? Like, with an actual drill?Oxodao wrote:This broke my screen

It's a little tight getting the screws in the first time or two but that is intentional as the screws tap the holes when you put them in.
Edit: and yes you need to stop screwing when it is just tight enough to hold the case securely.

Dang, that stinks. :\ Reading back in this thread I see you were using one a friend printed for you. What material did they use? On the ones I printed the holes were clear, so maybe your friend's settings were a bit off causing extra material to make the screw holes extra tight?Oxodao wrote:Yeah an actual drill, the hole was nearly filled I could bot enter the screw at all :/

He uses a prusa i3, I dont know the name of the material though I think this is the most basic which does not require a heated bed. I'll ask him
EDIT: I am even more a dick than I thought. The screen was just mis-plugged...
