[solved] Sound on Startup / Switching WiFi off

So now I got the script from the latest image from kite.

Sound still doesn't work. Musst be more than the missing script.



EDIT:

When I start it manually, the sound works.



On startup is no sound!

It must be related to the script "spalshscreen. sh".
What changes have been made here?

The change might be simply the fact that you have choosen another splashscreen that the default one, override it but deleting manually the file and do the update.

I get the message with a freshly flashed image of Kite without a new splashscreen. When changing the splashscreen the script is not touched. It should be changes of Kite.

as you can see in the install readme, there is no changes made to splashscreen by Kite...

That's very strange. Something must have changed.
What about: "USB Audio for splash screens enabled"?

The sound works before the update. Not after the update. I wanted to ask in the RetroPie forum where the problem could be, but they will also ask what has changed.

Possibly, kite can bring light into the dark.

I know this bug and have already mentioned it in my first post. At that time I didn't have a file called Asplashscreen. I will check after the RetroPie update how far this bug has crept in again.

That is the COMPLETE list of changes to the stock image, I run that script (I don't boot and clone).

i have same issue, but not with kite aio just standard project
i think since update 4.3, this issue has come back
retropie say they enable omxplayer and i think this is the cause of issue

any fix please
