[Solved] Circuit Sword Lite v1.4A USB Hub Not Working

Post by Todd5314 » Tue Oct 06, 2020 9:04 pm

Hi all -

Decided to build a second one with a different board. I wired up the raspberry pi zero & USB wires as per steps 12-14 here (https://github.com/kiteretro/Circuit-Sw ... Sword-Lite) and the "OK" LED worked.

When I hooked up the backboard and ran in tester mode, I had the failures in the picture.

I checked the continuity of each pin on the GPIO and they seem good as well as my wire solder.

Any other ideas on how to diagnose?

Thanks!

And now GPIO SHDN is "off" v "on". Not sure why that changed after powering off and on.

And after turning it off one more time, I am now getting blinking lights red, then blue.

OK - if I unplug the power and turn on, then it boots again. If I use the switch to turn it off, it blinks... and wait... now the GPIO SHDN is "on"...

I'm lost :D

Wait - now the GPIO SHDN is "off" again after being on and me just watching the test screen. I really lost! :D

Hi,

What software image are you using? That looks like maybe the SAIO or the Circuit Sword (NOT the Lite) one, could you make sure that you use an image from here and try again? https://github.com/kiteretro/Circuit-Sw ... tag/v1.0.1
