Hi, this is my first post on this forum so please bear with me.
I have just finished building my circuit shield and I love it.
The only thing that bothers me is the limited choice of operating systems. I find Retropie rather convoluted and long for the simplicity of pure RetroArch. That is why I would like to inquire whether it would be possible to install kite's custom software to lakka?
I am looking forward to hearing about your experiences, also with other OSes.
Circuit Shield other OS? (LAKKA)
Re: Circuit Shield other OS? (LAKKA)
I tried but hadn't had any success, you need to have a bit of Linux knowledge for pulling this off.SPNX700 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 29, 2021 5:42 amHi, this is my first post on this forum so please bear with me.

I've tried:
- Lakka which wouldn't load after the lakka logo
- Recalbox which works, but you don't have Wi-Fi or save shutdown or the extra Kite menu (for changing sound level or LCD brightness)
- Batocera (didn't work, but didn't know what went wrong)
It didn't work because the kernel needs to be patched and some code needs to be rewritten.
