[Solved] White Colors appear blue

Post by Metallicis » Wed Jan 10, 2018 11:42 pm

[Kite's AIO w/ pi zero]

I apologize in advance, I'm unable to post pictures and will add some later, but here's my issue: Everything runs fine but the screen will periodically flicker all the white colors into being blue. Also the reds go from vibrant to a more maroon color. I've checked the continuity on the pins and they seem fine... so I'm wondering if there might be a short between two color pins? The problem is I don't see any issue with it. Also the brace for the ribbon cable is damaged but I can make it work so I initially thought that might be the issue, however nothing happens when I fiddle with it... so my suspicion lies with the pins on the pi itself but I'm not sure how to narrow down which one it would be, even with the color diagram in the support thread. Sometimes the colors will be just fine but when I press a button or bump the board it flickers back into either fully blue or a scratchy blue. Again this is only the things that are white, like the pi menu, and red turns maroon, the rest of the colors appear fine.

Hi, put it onto the 'tester mode' and get a picture of the colour bars when it's in the 'bad state' and I can point out which pins you need to solder, but basically it is a soldering thing (dry joint between Pi and SAIO) which will be one of these pins: https://github.com/geebles/Super-AIO/wi ... lay-at-all depending which colour is not correct
