Hi all -

Finally had some time to build my GBZ using the awesome kit from Kite I bought last year around this time.

I'm following the instructions from GIT and have soldered the power switch and button together and have done the USB port to the backboard & spacers step.

Now I am testing out the board, but I am confused. When the power is off it seems all LEDs are correct at first then the blue chrg led goes out (it sort of fizzles and isn't solid really ever). When I turn the board on it looks all lit up like a Christmas tree, so I guess it is good? It seems like it based on other threads but I'd love a confirmation.

Finally when I plug it into Windows 10 l, I don't see it come up as a controller as per the instructions.

Does this sound about right? I want to make sure it is all working before connecting the PI0.

Everything looks good!

When you plug it in to PC and the power switch is OFF it should appear on windows. Turn your volume up and you should hear the "duh-dink" noise? Check device manager and if there is an unknown device then perhaps you lack the Arduino Leonardo drivers?

As soon as you turn the main switch ON it will change the Arduino to connect to the Pi (rather than your PC)

If not it's not the end of the world or a requirement, the yellow STS led is lit up and flashing so the Arduino is running happily

It's like that because you don't have a battery attached, so it's fine
