Hi Kite and MODers,

Any issue or advantage / disadvantage to utilize the Compute Board 3 versus the Compute Lite board?

Software, thermal or other considerations? Just curious if its worth it performance wise without 'breaking' something else.

Thanks!

The ONLY difference between the two, is that:

"Compute Module 3" has 4GB EMMC (cannot be upgraded, and you cannot use an SD card)
"Compute Module 3 Lite" does NOT have the EMMC, and instead requires an SD card

They are literally the same :) the lite just has that chip removed!

According to Adafruit, the lite version also lacks wi-fi/bluetooth. Is that not correct?

Neither contain bluetooth or wifi, I assume they are comparing [both] to the Pi3
