CSO - No wlan0 interface connected - Kite's Circuit Sword CM3
Hello everyone.
I can not make connection to my wifi: "No wlan0 interface connected"
I tried to get connection with "wifikeyfile.txt"
here is the result :
Kite's Circuit Sword CM3
File downloaded from:
https://github.com/kiteretro/Super-AIO/releases
release : "retropie-4.3-rpi2_rpi3_SAIO_20171002-211534.zip" (NOT SHURE that is the right one cause my circuit is with CM3)
So now i have only retropie soft on my screen
Nothing other (no emulators etc).
Can you help me please.

You downloaded the image for the SAIO not the CsO.
Downloaded from here instead and burn a fresh copy.

First, take a look at the link YaYa posted, basically place some kapton tape or something OVER the wifi module .. you could also test by unscrewing the case and trying to connect wifi without the back half screwed together..
When it stops working again, can you please plug in a keyboard and press F4 to get to the console and run:
Then plug SD into a PC and upload the dmesg.txt file here (hint, put it inside [ code ] HERE [ /code ] these)
When it stops working again, can you please plug in a keyboard and press F4 to get to the console and run:
Code: Select all
dmesg | sudo tee /boot/dmesg.txt

Thank you for your support.
Console freeze very often. I have to take off my battery to turn my console off.
I tried to do F4 with my USB keyboard (from iMac) but it's doesn't work .
So for now, only the way to get wifi working for me it's to restart my console till it works.

You might have to do FN + F4, or you can press START and 'quit' and the 'exit' (to shell) rather than shutdown.
If you remove the back half of the shell so it is in two, does that help (there is issue where backboard shorts into the wifi module, so apply kapton tape (a few layers) to the wifi module)

Re: CSO - No wlan0 interface connected - Kite's Circuit Sword CM3
I am have the same issue after I updated retro pie. I have Kapton tape on the module and have taken off the back cover. I know that’s not it.
It’s definitely from the update. I think I updated the kernel as well by mistake when it prompted. There is just an “x” over the wi-fi symbol.
Is there anyway to fix this without reinstalling from scratch?
