CSO another WIFI issue (even after new version)

Post by goodBEan » Wed May 23, 2018 8:14 pm

Built my CSO. No wifi signals show up. Already tried updating, taping up the wifi board, wifi country set to USA, tried multiple places, and tried putting it next to all the routers in my place.

Log file is attached.

I tried separating the halves and testing wifi, still no wifi signals. I also ran the "dmesg > msg.txt" and attached it.

What brand of microsd card do you use? Is it Sandisk?

If it is, get ANYTHING ELSE! 100% of my CSO issues were caused by having a Sandisk card, and they were solved by getting a generic no-name off of Amazon.

I would be really careful heeding this advice.

This makes no sense, but I have seen stuff that makes no sense work before. It can be easily tested without damage.

I got a spare cd card I can use. I will just set my scandisk 32gb to the side.

UPDATE JUST TESTED THIS THEORY AND

Still no wifi signals.

Might be best to send me an email and we'll replace your CM3 and CSO.. i'll be able to take a look and see why it's doing this, because all the log messages indicate that it's working fine

Does your wifi icon show an X or ! (exclamation mark)?
