Replacement parts

Post by arvellon_nerd » Sun Jul 15, 2018 9:10 am

I couldn't find this topic, and I apologize in advance if there is an answer to this I haven't seen yet.

During a soldering mishap I seem to have damaged the holes for the mode button on the power switch. So, in a way I'm looking for a new power switch, or if anybody knows any work arounds (soldering a pin on the button directly to the cable from the USB/Volume PCB).

And now, during my efforts to solve the mode button conundrum, I have damaged the ribbon cable that goes between the Circuit Sword and the USB/Volume PCB. So, I'm also looking for a new ribbon cable, but this might be easier to find.

Any tips from you guys where I can find a new ribbon cable with the correct measurements, (links would be awesome). My Game Boy Zero build will work without the mode button, but it won't work without a new ribbon cable.

Thanks in advance!

This image may help?

The arrow is pointing to the pin at the bottom, not the exposed bit of metal on that switch.. and the other side of the button goes to GND which is any of those other holes.

If I ever ran out of everything, it is trivial to wire up your own button and switch like my very original boards used to be like: https://github.com/kiteretro/Super-AIO/ ... ODE-Button
