No problem I'm hoping it's something simple! We'll get there with it though! Speak later when you have the information

Re: Overlay/HUD constantly on - Buttons not responding (Update 3)
- I bought a new cardreader, which didn't solve the problem of the "read only".
- With power ON and in voltage mode, btn_pwr shows nothing, btn_mode is at 4,95V
- With power OFF and in voltage mode, btn_pwr is at 5,75V, btn_mode shows nothing
- Resistance mode, nothing.

**edit**
I discovered something... While booting the pi up I switched it off too early ,so the script needed some seconds to actually initialize the shutdown. As soon as the powerswitch was in off position, the overlay disappeared.

Re: Overlay/HUD constantly on - Buttons not responding (Update 3)
Everything looks good, the resistance thing not so much but that's likely because the measurement range isn't right (it should be around 100k ohms). Or if in fact there is no resistance then that might be the problem! It might be best to send back to me and i'll debug and repair, because the pin to solder is very very tiny if it even is this!
The highlighted pin "8" is possibly the issue.
Let me send you a return address and I'll sort it out

I sent you an email, but yeh just the main board with the zero attached! No need to remove as that will do more harm! Your soldering looks good so it’s likely something else
